This is an early Georgian Scottish horn and tortoiseshell snuff mull/box. It has a stand away hinge circa 1720. It has an interesting old repair to the inside. The lid is tortoiseshell the body is horn with a silver rim around lid. Blank silver cartouche to the top. Silver studding to the edge of the box top.
